I've completed FOUR incredible design challenges created by Michał Malewicz and his team:

• 90 Daily UI Challenge 📱 • Graphic Design (skeuomorphism) Challenge 🎨 • IA Challenge 💭 • Icon Challenge 🖼️

It all started with the 90 Daily UI Challenge. The experience was so rewarding that I decided to make a commitment: to design daily outside of work. This practice has been transformative, significantly boosting my creativity and refining my skills across various design domains.

Here's a quick reflection on each challenge:

Add problem-solving to your bag of tricks by taking on The Information Architecture Challenge on SquarePlanet Academy.

If you know what good user interface design looks like, but have little idea how it works this challenge is for you.

🔃 For 30 days, you will be asked to create information architecture of different digital products by sketching out user flows first, and designing second.

⚠️ if you’re resourceful enough, you can always find the solution online and design something based on it. That should never be your go-to approach because it can limit your ability to think for yourself.

3 Challenges, 5 Badges, 150 Days Do you ever try to enter daily design challenges? Well, I did. So I will summarize my journey

Starting from the "Daily UI Challenge" I learned so much and gained super experience in making clean UI.

Moving to the second it was the "Graphic Design Challenge" Making semi-realistic physical products using the Vector tool only, which was my favorite challenge, I learned a lot and made cool stuff.

The Last one "App Icon Challenge" Designing my view into app icons by trying different techniques, shadows, and colors was fun.

P.S. I just started the latest challenge, "3D Design Challenge" And I will share my experience after finishing it.

Some people have asked me how to learn webdesign lately and this is what i would do if i started from 0:

Join SquarePlanet and do the challenges. Get your first Client, overdeliver. Put away the tax money and 20-40% go into the savings acc, rest of it goes back into the business (this will be low in the beginning)

For 30 days I’ve done one landing page per day - maybe nothing can stop me now :D
