I’m a UX Designer with a strong focus on creating user centred solutions that achieve business outcomes. My background in business and hospitality management laid the foundations for the skills that I’ve continued to develop working as a UX Designer. Solving problems in high pressure environments with a diverse range of customers and teams allowed me to demonstrate my high degree of empathy. My career in hospitality required me to conduct quantitative and qualitative research, to identify needs and pain points to improve service, increase revenue and achieve customer satisfaction, so carrying out user research in UX was a natural progression. I used a data-informed decision-making approach to monitor performance, control costs and forecast staffing and stock requirements, underlining business acumen, strong analytical skills and great attention to detail.
