Beyond Boring #2

๐ŸŽ‰ Thrilled to share a major personal achievement! ๐ŸŽ‰

It has been almost a year since we started design "challenges" at our very own academy, and there are dozens who have finished them all and truly risen to the occasion.
They have shared their stories so we thought it would be great to share them with you all too.

So, for our second article let's introduce Elwira to everyone .

Say Hi

Hi! Iโ€™m Elwira, a UX/UI Designer from Poland. I have a deep passion for design and new technologies, constantly seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and stay ahead in the field of design.
Fun fact: I can speak Japanese and several different languages.

My Journey

I've completed FOUR incredible design challenges created by Michaล‚ Malewicz and his team:

โ€ข 90 Daily UI Challenge
โ€ข Graphic Design (skeuomorphism) Challenge
โ€ข IA Challenge
โ€ข Icon Challenge It all started with the 90 Daily UI Challenge.

The experience was so rewarding that I decided to make a commitment: to design daily outside of work. This practice has been transformative, significantly boosting my creativity and refining my skills across various design domains.

Here's a quick reflection on each challenge:

90 Daily UI Challenge: This was a deep dive into creating user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing. Each daily prompt pushed me to think critically and design intuitively.

Graphic Design Challenge: This one truly unleashed my creative potential, allowing me to experiment with different styles, colors, and compositions.

IA Challenge: Organizing and structuring information for clarity and ease of use was a fantastic learning experience. It taught me the importance of user-centered design principles.

Icon Challenge: Focusing on app icons, this challenge taught me how to distill complex ideas into simple, recognizable symbols. Designing icons that are both visually striking and functional in various sizes was a rewarding and educational experience.

Completing these challenges has been more than just a test of skill; it's been a journey of growth and discovery.

Each project presented unique obstacles and learning opportunities, helping me refine my craft and expand my design toolkit.

I'm incredibly grateful for the insights and skills I've gained along the way, and I'm excited to apply them in future projects. Hereโ€™s to continuous improvement and never stopping the learning process!
